The Central government may by pass an order directing all provisions & rules contained in the Indian Copyright Act, 1957shall apply to any work (coming within the ambit of copyright) which is first published outside the territory of India in like manner as if they were first published within the territory of India. Further the Central government has the authority to restrict the rights of foreign broadcasting organization & performers if they found that the foreign country has not properly undertaken to give adequate protection to rights of broadcasting organizations or performers. It is to be noted that the order of the Central Government shall be laid down before both the houses of parliament & will be liable to such modifications as the parliament thinks fit.
